Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using DropMyNote (“the Platform”, “we”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy and Content Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use DropMyNote. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.

3. User Accounts

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must provide a valid email address and accurate academic information (degree and university).
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to manipulate views or earnings is prohibited.
• You must notify us immediately at blankspaceofficial2000@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Content You Upload

When you upload a note, you grant DropMyNote a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, display, and distribute that note to other users of the Platform. You retain all ownership rights.

You represent and warrant that:

• You created the note yourself or have explicit permission from the copyright holder to share it.
• The note does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
• The note complies with our Content Policy.

If you delete a note, it is removed from public access. Previously earned view-based revenue for that note is not reversed.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use automated scripts, bots, or any other means to artificially inflate view counts.
• Upload content that violates our Content Policy.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or harvest data from the Platform.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure or security features.
• Impersonate another person, creator, or institution.
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose under Nepali or international law.
• Share, re-upload, or redistribute notes uploaded by other creators without permission.

6. Creator Content

Creators upload notes to help the student community. We reserve the right to remove content that violates our Content Policy or Terms of Service.

7. Advertising

DropMyNote displays advertisements from approved advertisers to support the Platform. Advertisers operate under a separate agreement. We are not responsible for the content or accuracy of third-party advertisements.

8. Intellectual Property

All Platform branding, design, source code, and original content (excluding user-uploaded notes) are the property of DropMyNote and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Platform without our written permission.

9. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. DropMyNote does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or quality of user-uploaded notes. You rely on any note content at your own risk. We are not responsible for exam outcomes based on notes found on the Platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Nepali law, DropMyNote and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. DMCA / Copyright Complaints

If you believe content on DropMyNote infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to blankspaceofficial2000@gmail.com including: (a) identification of the copyrighted work; (b) the URL of the infringing content; (c) your contact information; and (d) a statement that the complaint is made in good faith. We will investigate and remove content as appropriate.

12. Termination

We may suspend or permanently terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your access to the Platform ceases and any pending payouts under the minimum threshold are forfeited.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kathmandu, Nepal.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
